A recent experiment at Dominican University put a bullet in the back of a head of a popular myth about setting goals.
The study divided men into four groups:
- Those who were asked to only think about goals they wanted to accomplish in a four-week period.
- Those who were only asked to write an action plan for each goal.
- Those who wrote an action plan but were asked to also share their goals and actions with a friend.
- Those who went the farthest by doing all of the above, and sending a detailed weekly progress report to a friend.
Now here’s the instructive part…
They all fucked up or failed.
… APART from those in group four, where 76% completed or nearly completed their goals.
Which makes sense, right?
‘Cause without pressure from others, it’s easy to fall short.
Case in point…
Have you ever bought a course, read a book or watched a video that you thought would really move the dial… only to find months later you have done nothing more than stand-still or worse, move backwards?
See, that’s the problem with information for self-made men like us… there’s no fucking rigor to the results.
Which is why you and I need something much more aggressive:
- Strategic Action
- Bonds & Brotherhood
- Ruthless Accountability
… And open access to smart ambitious men who you respect and will have your back, at the drop of a hat and when shit hits the fan.
What I’d have you consider as the four “keys to the kingdom” when it comes to pushing forward and consistently getting results.
Possibilities that are open to you too when you choose to come and join us.
But the first enemy is yours alone.
Inertia and inaction.
Because before you step up to the plate, you have to fill out an application to prove you cut the mustard.
And that brother takes action and commitment to your own cause.
Make More. Provide More. Be More.
