It seems Sunday’s email on the power of hate hit a button.
So today let’s double down because a wise man once said:
“If your enemies aren’t thinking about you at least once a day, you must not be doing much of anything, and you are probably poor or broke.”
A mantra for money and a school of thought that highlights why so many men are still walking the face of the earth hungry for victory.
… Because in my experience, here’s the thing.
One of the fastest ways to fall flat on your face is FEAR.
More importantly a fear of being disliked, a fear of being disapproved of, or a fear of being criticised.
… Especially by family.
… Especially by competitors.
… And especially by those, who in most circumstances, would rather shit on you, than see you succeed.
See, fear of criticism imposes limits and forces men like you and I, into tiny boxes.
Boxes, that are made from stories, emotions and reactions based around the possible disapproval of others.
Others, who in the cold hard light of day, do not matter
Point being, I’m thankful that over the years I’ve built up an iron-clad immunity to criticism.
Something that like many of the other smart ambitious men, here inside of The Fellowship, wasn’t always so.
BUT something that was necessary, and that I did deliberately.
Probably why when told something is “impossible,” instead of bending the knee – nine times out of ten I normally find a way to saddle up and do what needs to be done.
