As a rule, I don’t sit well with the mass mediocre majority ~…
I’ve met some – I’m not impressed.
A belief that’s been compounded this last week after listening to some of the men in this brotherhood trading war stories…
- Contractors letting people down.
- Invoices not getting paid.
- Employees not pulling their weight….
It seems right now ‘dicking about’ really is on the rise as the mediocre majority’s ability to crack on and get shit done hits a record low.
Maybe it is the fall-out from the pandemic, maybe it’s the economy, or maybe it’s that standards are slipping… Who knows.
Either way, it feels like more and more men, outside of our walls, are falling foul to the gravitational pull of weakness.
The outcome for you, me and the other smart ambitious men of this tribe?
Time wasted.
- Time wasted on chasing.
- Time wasted on delays.
- Time wasted on other people’s fuck ups
A tornado of shit that leaves even the most battle-hardened ground down, beat up, and worn out… as your state of mind is shot and your control slips through the cracks.
In other words – YOU suffer and THEY get off scot-free.
Which in my mind, isn’t right under any circumstance or in any economy.
So time to consider that now my friend is the time to draw a line in the sand…
… And decide what you will tolerate and what you won’t.
This week I’d urge you to remember that…
- You get to set your rules.
- You get to set your standards.
- You get to live by your code.
… And you don’t have to accept people dicking you about.
After all, and in my experience, if you choose to lay on the ground then you’re asking to get stepped on.
