It’s one of Emma’s BIG pet peeves~.
In fact, pet peeve is probably a bit of an understatement.
Over the last 15 years or so, she made it clear on numerous occasions that not only does she not like it, but it down right pisses her off.
Something to do with when we’re out, and someone is helping, serving or assisting, I always ask:
“That’s great – what did you say your name was again?”
A question that’s usually greeted with a smile and a personal introduction.
… And an answer that I then make a conscious effort to use EVERY time we interact again.
Something in fact that I was caught doing red-handed at last month’s Think Tank, by long-standing Fellowship member Joel S – as I ordered drinks from the waitress at the bar.
“Charlie, why when talking to strangers do you always use their first name…”
My answer – simple:
“It ALWAYS gets you what you want!”
Truth is, it comes back to Dale Carnegie and is 1936 mantra for money:
“How To Win Friends And Influence People.”
… And possibly the most powerful persuasion secret ever revealed:
Always Remember Their Name.
… Because when push comes to shove, to ANY man, woman or child, their name is the most sacred, divine and important word EVER.
You tie that name with genuinely taking an interest in what they do, and how they do it – and well my friend, the floodgates will open and you will get the keys to the kingdom.
… Or in other words in one fell swoop you take upper hand to getting what you want, in any situation.
Funny thing is, this one thing alone has been responsible for me:
- Getting free drinks
- Getting free upgrades
- Getting free sex
A persuasion secret and phenomena that I’d have you consider has never been more important for men like you and I.
… Especially when it comes to getting more wealth, more loyalty or more respect.
Forget Facebook, forget Google, forget the latest shiny object that the arseholes online would have you believe is the next best thing…
Because in my experience, if you just start mastering how people behave and act at a d-e-e-p physiological level, this game becomes simple.
… And you my friend, become immune to any and all fluctuation in the economy, the markets and the current climate.
Funnily enough, it’s why my deep dive on:

… went down like a storm with the men of The Fellowship.
… And why the results achieved so far, from those who chose to put the hammer down and rapidly deploy, have been second to none.
Anyway, nuff said about that…
Me and Emma have got dinner booked for Friday night.
… So despite what she hopes, that question will be asked, and that question will probably get us better service than anyone else is going to get that night, or over the weekend.
