But the great Tom T Hall, I think summed up the great mysteries of life, pretty well, in just 10 words.
Here’s what he muttered while hanging from his horse…
“Life is about faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, and more money”
Now I’ll agree with three of them but the jury’s out on one of the four.
Now what most don’t know is that he continued…
“It don’t do men no good to pray for peace and rain… Buffalo chips (shit) is all it means to me”
… What’s that?
Sitting on your arse and hoping for prosperity is a-load of shit, Tom?

Translation for the modern man in today’s fucked-up blur of boom and bust – praying for sunshine and rainbows will never make it so.
The universal law of the jungle will transcend even in a pandemic.
In other words…
Hope is not a strategy.
And, it never will be.
Prosperity will always come from persistent, consistent, strategic action.
That is of course if you want to come out the other side of this thing kicking and screaming.
Which from what I’ve seen over the last few months, clearly isn’t always the case.
