Should you be advertising on “those” sites?

I knew as soon as the words came out of his mouth it would happen.

Seems this subject is still taboo… even these days.

… Especially when the politically correct posturing starts kicking in online.

It wasn’t like we talked about anything that was too offensive.

Chris just mentioned on air and on this podcast episode that he’s wisely advertising his REAL business on…

Well….

P*rnh*b.

… And was making a KILLING in the process.

No surprise when you consider that right now:

  • Facebook is expensive.
  • Google is expensive.
  • And LinkedIn is getting expensive.

Probably why Chris chose to ignore what his competitors were doing, and instead ask this:

“Where is my ideal customer hanging out, right now?”

Turns out for Chris, his customers are in their early twenties and male.

Which means advertising on “those sites’ is on the money and a slam dunk.

Made even better by the fact that all the other advertisers there are selling what you’d expect.

… Meaning he stands out like a sore thumb and makes money hand over fist.

Anyway the moral of the story is this:

Always advertise where your customer is… NOT where your competitor is.

Even if that means you get labeled as…

“Vulgar!”

“Disgusting!”

“Immoral!”

… by the trolls online.

Their opinion is irrelevant and will be softened by the fact that you will be laughing all the way to the bank 🙂

Anyway, if you want to listen to that One Man Empire podcast with Chris, in full, so you can get the complete inside track – do that here:

P.S This podcast only launched six weeks back and has already made it to the top 50 business podcasts.

I’ve only shared it with the men inside this email list so I’m pretty chuffed.
