I got a private message in from a long-standing member this week…
“Charlie call me, I have BAD NEWS…”
My mind was racing…
Illness? Death? Divorce?
Nope.
Turns out an ex-member of The Fellowship is trying to run a One Man Empire rip-off.
Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Gut reaction?
Rage.
… And WarPath.
Consider that me lawyering up and deciding to see first-hand, exactly what had been stolen.
Here’s what I found.
Something that reminded me of the Iceland Rola-Cola my Mum used to buy…
Looked like shit.
Tasted worse.
It made me cringe – for them.
The stupid thing is if they’d asked we probably could have struck a deal and both won.
Anyway, 72 hours on I’ve now calmed down.
After all, they say imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Plus they are clearly scratching around – meaning:
- They are weak.
- They are desperate.
- They are in trouble.
And so in the end…
They will lose.
Anyway the point today, and your mantra for money this week is this…
Don’t let people steal your shit 🙂
