Based on the feedback, seems Tuesday’s email on ethical manipulation went down a storm.
Truth is, and despite all the shiny “new” tactics the arseholes online try and sell – marketing and sales come down to one thing and one thing only:
Understanding Human Behaviour
Crack that nut, and well my friend you have the keys to the kingdom.
Now the good news about that is that unlike tactics (Facebook, Google, Instagram etc), when it comes to generating a buying interest, in humans, there are two things that have stood the test of time.
Two things that come rain or shine, Facebook or Google, Instagram or Linkedin, Blog post or video, you would be wise to focus your marketing efforts on, and above all else:
- Moving customers towards pleasure
- Moving customers away from pain
… In other words a strict focus on:
- How you will get them what THEY want
- How you get them away from what THEY hate.
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
You start focusing your efforts on those two things and those two things alone, and well, you’ll have them eating out the palm of your hands…
… Whatever you sell, whatever the platform and whatever the medium.
Now, over the next few months and behind the closed doors of The Fellowship I will religiously be focusing on leveraging deep-rooted Human Behaviours, like this, to get more customers, get more scale and get more control.
… Then now might be the time to start considering to fill an application out for this group.
