Question in today from across the pond.
It’s about obtaining peak performance in the minds of men:
“Charlie, that last email was on the money. I’m reading a lot about mindset and I need you to cut through some of the bullshit. In your experience how do you mentally keep focused when making big decisions. Brendon “
Good question and an instructive answer for you too when considering big moves.
See, for me, the process is simple.
Stay the fuck away from the unclear, blurry and vague.
Here’s what I mean by that.
When making decisions, judgements or choices, cut the cord from any, where the answer is not…
- Good or Bad.
- Right or Wrong.
- Black or White.
- Yes or No.
If the answer lies between those lines – then, my friend, you’re looking at a red herring at best and a traitor in your midst at worse.
Because here’s the thing…
In order for men like you and I to operate at peak performance, you need crystal clear clarity on all decisions.
That means no grey areas.
- Clarity gives conviction.
- Conviction gives confidence.
- Confidence gives control.
I call it operating with an Outlaw State of Mind.
… What some have described as the art and science of ruthlessly efficient decision making when under fire.
The same kind of iron disciple and decisiveness that when forged in fire, behind these closed doors, has allowed men of action to keep winning and get results…
… Because they prioritise and execute.
Make More. Provide More. Be More.
