Barney will now force you into doing tackling drills…

A LOT.
Seems right now he’s practising rugby – relentlessly
Something that kicked off after playing in a tournament at Leicester Tigers three weeks back…
… A day that involved a horde of rabid 9-year-olds playing on the turf, meeting the players, and going on the pitch at halftime in front of a roaring home crowd.
The highlight of his day?
Meeting Joseph.
A member of the Tigers squad who had started, like him, in Lichfield.
Barney’s eyes were as wide as saucers…
“Dad, if Joseph can do it, I can do it!”
A blinding flash of motivation that has forged his commitment and his progress in fire.
Now, as fucked up as this may sound, that day INSPIRED Barney.
And as many have said – inspiration among men is a powerful tool.
After all, there is true power in seeing something in real life, in the flesh and in action.
… Seeing others achieve what you want to achieve
… Talking to others who have started where you started.
… Hearing from others who live what you want to live.
It’s why this week…
Whatever your path and wherever you want to go in this game, I’d urge this…
Get yourself around others that INSPIRE you, MOVE you and MOTIVATE you.
Truth be told, you do this one thing alone and you my friend will go further and faster than ever before.
Until then, avoid Barney.
